*sigh*

So it's been quite a week.

We were in Griffin 3 extra days, getting the car fixed.

We came home late Thursday night. Lissa came on Friday. We had sushi/Thai night with her and Andy and Suzie. I went to work. Mark texted me and said his car was broken again.

So now he's back in Griffin, trying to get the car fixed for good. (It's the air conditioner, if you're interested.)

Also, my power cord for the Mac broke for good. I'm going to have to go to the Apple store and buy a new one today.

Tomorrow, I'm going to Hannah's house to see her before she moves to Seattle. Kelly will be here at some point today.

And with all of that ... I'm just ready for life to get back to normal.

  5. Arg, car troubles are always troublesome (no pun intended) because we need our cars so much!
To answer your questions... I'm not on any pills because I don't normally have trouble sleeping during the day unless my neighbors are really loud or if the kids are outside running around screaming. For the most part, I sleep ok. The hardest time I have is the very first night because I'm technically awake for 24 hours and then falling asleep on my first night home after a stretch of sleeping days. It usually takes me about 1-2 days to get back on the normal schedule while I toss and turn at night and then feel like a zombie during the day. That's the hardest. I think my diet though not perfect is probably ok. I take vitamins and everything and now have myself pumped up on Day-Time Tylenol, yogurt and Mucinex. :) And yeah, I try to schedule myself several days in a row. Sometimes I get switched and end up working random nights during the week (which really really sucks), but most of the time I get to work them straight through - that helps a lot. We are always understaffed (nothing new, right?) and overworked taking unsafe assignments sometimes and you know... stress gets up there sometimes, which doesn't help my health either. :( I've begun looking for a day job anywhere else... so we'll see where that takes me. I can't stand being sick any more. It really sucks. :((( Thanks for the kind words, though. I am glad I'm not the only one out there!
